Here's an owner's manual worthy of the name. What doesn't feature in CZ's 46-page A5-sized handbook isn't worth knowing (unless you're embarking on a total strip and overhaul) and while the English makes for an occasional giggle it has a gloriously jolly yesteryear ring to it that is highly appealing. Enjoy…
An Indian company called Ideal Jawa (India) Limited sold bikes under license, first under the Jawa name and then under the Yezdi name.
ReplyDeleteThe introduced a 350 twin to their line-up in 1986 called the Yezdi 350 Twin. It had a Jawa engine, but no one knew which model it was derived from.
Jawa 634, 638 etc or the CZ typ 472.
The biggest problem we all face is that none of know which jets are to be used in the carbs.
Now thanks to you, I have that information.
The reason I think this model is the basis of the Yezdi 350 is that the power output seems the closest match - 21 bhp as compared to this model's 22 bhp.
I hope we can get this sorted out using the 55 / 112 jet sizes.
Many thanks for this upload.
